JALENKWRIGHT Released on the heels of his passion project 'Don't Forget to Smile :3' and the lost beat tape 'Tap Water Vol. 1' FTWG 1.8 is Curbside Jones' single best effort this year thus far. Premiering on blog site Ovrld, this second update of the original song finds the Austin auteur taking over control of the soundscape where he reigns. Additionally the song was reuploaded shortly after it's debut: this could be considered the fourth attempt at connecting to his Maker for a much-needed FaceTime session.

about

Premiered on Ovrld- ovrld.com/exclusives/curbside-jones-facetime/

Curbside Jones is back with an extension to previously released song entitled, FaceTimeWithGod. On FaceTimeWithGod 1.8 Curbside Jones takes a trip down memory lane and opens with the lines

"Saw my first choppa at the age of 15/older cousins living what rappers say in these magazines."

These lines and the song as a whole sum up some of the things Curbside Jones has seen and experienced; all wrapped up in a distorted FaceTime call with God. All aspects of the song were done by Curbside Jones from the cover art to the mixing and the production.
